Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How far in advance should I book?
A: We recommend booking:

Mobile carts: at least 2 to 3 weeks in advance to secure your preferred date, especially on weekends or during busy seasons.
Mini cakes and cakesicles: at least 7 days in advance to allow proper preparation and finishing.

Q: How do I secure my date?
A: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking for mobile cart services, along with a signed agreement. Your date is confirmed once the deposit is received.

For mini cakes and cakesicles, full payment is required to confirm your order.

Q: When is full payment due?
A: Mobile carts: The remaining balance is due 7 days before your event. This helps us prepare your cart, ingredients and team for your celebration.
Mini cakes and cakesicles: Full payment is required at the time of order confirmation.

Q: Can I customise the Cake Cart, Cannoli Cart or Charcuterie Cart?

A: Yes, customisation is available within our set options.

For the Cake Cart, you may select from our menu:

• 2 cake flavours
• 2 frosting flavours
• 2 sauces
• Additional 3 toppings to customise (Our cake cart holds up to 12 toppings and 9 of those toppings are standard)

The Charcuterie Cart also offers a level of customisation based on available selections and seasonal ingredients. While we’re happy to personalise your cart where possible, all choices are subject to availability and designed to ensure smooth service and consistent quality for your event.

Q: What space do I need for setup?
A: Each cart requires a 2.5 m × 2.5 m area on a solid, even surface. Please avoid stairs, gravel, direct sun, or rain. Some carts also need access to a power outlet, so please check beforehand.

Q: How long does the service last?
A: The Cake Cart, Cannoli Cart and Charcuterie Cart provide 2 hours of serving your guests. Delivery, setup, and pickup are additional and not included in the 2 hours.

Q: Is there an attendant?
A: Yes! At least one friendly attendant is included with each cart to serve your guests and ensure everything runs smoothly.

Q: Can the cart be set up in the rain?
A: No. For safety and quality reasons, our carts cannot operate in rain or wet conditions. A covered, weather-protected area is required.

Q: What happens if the weather is bad?
A: If weather conditions aren’t suitable, we’ll work with you to relocate the cart to a protected area or discuss rescheduling, depending on what’s possible. Rain and direct sun can affect both equipment and food quality.

Q: Are travel fees included?

A: Travel within 20 km of our Banksmeadow kitchen is included. For events beyond this distance, a travel fee may apply. Please contact us to discuss the most suitable option for your event.

Q: Do you cater for dietary requirements or food allergies?

A: We’re happy to discuss dietary requirements in advance; however, our menu and setup allow for limited modifications only.
Our products are prepared and served in environments that may contain nuts, gluten, dairy and other allergens, and while care is taken, we cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contamination. For this reason, we’re unable to offer allergen-free products.

Q: What is the minimum order for mini desserts and cakesicles?
A: The minimum order is 24 pieces per flavour. This allows us to maintain consistency, quality and careful finishing for each item.

Q: Do you offer custom colours or branding?
A: Yes. Our mini celebration cakes and cakesicles can be customised to match your event colours, theme or brand. Custom stickers or branded elements are available for corporate events, brand activations and private celebrations. Please contact us to discuss your vision.

Q: Do you offer mixed flavour boxes?
A: At this stage, minimum quantities apply per flavour to ensure production quality and consistency. If you have a special request, please contact us, and we will do our best to accommodate it where possible.

Q: Do you offer pickup?
A: At this time, we offer delivery only across Sydney and Greater Sydney to ensure safe handling and product quality during transport.

Q: Can I place a last-minute order?
A: We recommend placing your order at least 5 to 7 days in advance. Last-minute orders may be considered depending on availability, but cannot be guaranteed.

Q: Do mini desserts and cakesicles require refrigeration?
A: Mini mousse cakes and cheesecake cups must be kept refrigerated until serving.

Cakesicles can be stored in a cool, dry environment for up to 3 days when kept away from heat and direct sunlight. During warmer weather, refrigeration is recommended to maintain the finish and quality. Detailed storage guidance will be provided with your order.
